We are seeking a Vice President, Clinical Services to oversee our clinical certification and appeals operations. The position is located in Bluffton, SC, midway between Hilton Head Island and Savannah, GA. Primary responsibilities include clinical certification of multiple products and services, new program implementation, compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, and clinical consultation to support issue resolution.
Minimum requirements include current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse with a bachelor’s degree in health or health administration field, advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years previous management experience is required, with at least three years experience in managed health care. Requirements also include an understanding of the Utilization and Quality Management process, knowledge of industry regulatory requirements, ability to communicate with various department levels and external customers, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Experience within a call center environment is a plus.
