10 most costly conditions in men and women


Mean expenditures for the 10 most costly medical conditions for both men and women, according to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, were highest for cancer at $4,873 for men and $4,484 for women. For heart disease, the average expenditure was $3,723 per woman and $4,363 per man.
