Participants in a Healthways diabetes management program who received four telephone calls encouraging healthy behaviors had greater improvements in HbA1c and LDL levels than those who received no phone calls.... Privacy remains much on the public's mind. The potential benefits of EMRs appeal to most people, but privacy abuse is a major concern, according to a poll by Harris Interactive. Only 29 percent had heard anything about EMRs, suggesting that mass public opinion about EMRs does not yet exist.
