Johns Hopkins Hospital is not the top- ranked hospital, and that’s news. Johns Hopkins had topped the Hospital Honor Roll in the annual rankings by U.S. News & World Report for 21 years in a row. The Honor Roll recognizes hospitals that are near the top of the rankings for at least six individual specialties. Envelope please. The winner for 2012–2013 is Massachusetts General Hospital.... Geisinger Health System says tough love begins at home. Its approximately 14,000 employees have a choice: They can pay 6 percent of their premium next year or pay 12 percent. The hitch (we all knew there’d be one) is that to qualify for the discount, employees’ body mass index, blood pressure, and total cholesterol and blood glucose levels must be within the acceptable range by October. Geisinger offers the same program to some of its employer clients.
